What it does

Aimed at up-and-coming musicians, Scriggle-it is a solution which has two basic functions: the marketing of the music itself and the management of an existing fanbase.

As it is explained on the site, Scriggle-it is built around an e-mail list management tool which is tailor-made for musicians that want to bond with their fans.

Registration comes at no cost whatsoever, and upon creating an account you will not only have access to the Scriggle platform per se but also to a host of related services such as a Scriggle mail box and the “Scriggle Kit”. The latter is still being developed, and it is hoped that future revisions will make for the sharing of video files with fans. You can also use the provided Scriggle code and paste it into your social network profile for fans to join your mailing list.

Scriggle-it can also be used to announce important events like upcoming gigs as well as keeping fans posted on the latest developments appertaining to the band. For instance, you can notify your fans that a new song has been written. This is actually an excellent way of building up a true rapport - imagine you come across a group of fans who request you write a specific song that reflect how they feel. Now you can do it and let them know instantly that the song was written and it was inspired by them. This kind of gesture never goes unnoticed by music lovers.
